Isle of Scalpay, Outer Hebrides, Scotland
Welcome to the Scalpay Linen Web Site

The Isle of Scalpay, Outer Hebrides, Scotland.

Scalpay Linen was established in 1997 to market the pure linen cloth woven by Sheila Roderick and John Finlay Ferguson - both of whom are also independent Harris Tweed weavers.

The cloth is made into items for sale to
the trade and visiting customers.
We also spin wool and other fibres - from our own sheep and customer-supplied.

During 2016 Season,  Scalpay Linen and Scalpay Linen Laundry Service hope to be based at:

Croileagan Hut, Scalpay School Craft Village,

Isle of Scalpay, HS4 3XU, Western Isles, Scotland

Until the end of August.

After that time, our lease with North Harris Trust expires and we are unsure as to the future of Scalpay Linen.

As yet we are not able to publish opening times or days, but hope to be able to before Easter.

We are easy to find - opposite the North Harbour Bistro and Community Shop.  Scalpay Linen occupies the second building on the left of the main gate to the school.

Parking is available on site, or outside the Community Centre, just a stone's throw from the Craft Village.

Our neighbours - Pink Sheep Studio, Geoff Stear Art, Java's Crafty Library and 2 Harbours Trading Company are also on campus and will be pleased to welcome you.
